  • Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation remains one of the most sought-after procedures for women who want to enhance breast volume, symmetry, and overall proportions. Whether motivated by naturally smaller breasts, changes following pregnancy, or age-related volume loss, modern breast augmentation techniques allow for a customizable transformation tailored to your body and aesthetic goals. Dr. Luck is one of few plastic surgeons in the region who perform breast augmentation with implants, fat transfer, or with a combination of implants and fat transfer.

  • Breast Augmentation with Implants

Dr. Luck performs implant-based breast augmentations with saline or silicone breast implants, placed either partially under the muscle (dual plane) or above the muscle (subfascial). He prefers the subfascial technique for patients who are particularly athletic and muscular, or who are concerned about animation deformity (distortion of implants when flexing). Thinner patients and those who seek a softer upper breast appearance may benefit from the submuscular technique (partially under the chest muscle), which Dr. Luck performs using a dual-plane approach to maximize longevity. In certain cases, Dr. Luck may recommend the use of scaffolding — or an “internal bra” — to achieve durable and predictable outcomes.

During your consultation, Dr. Luck will listen to your goals and assess your natural anatomy, skin elasticity, and chest wall dimensions. Together, you will work together to determine your ideal implant type, size, shape, and placement.

  • Breast Augmentation with Fat Transfer

If you seek breast augmentation but you’re looking for a more natural option, you may be a candidate for a breast augmentation using your own body fat. This procedure involves liposuctioning fat from the abdomen, flanks, or thighs, followed by purification and reinjection of the fat into the breasts — ideal for patients who prefer a modest and natural result and who also have regions of stubborn fat. Fat transfer can enhance breast fullness, correct asymmetries, and improve contour irregularities without the introduction of foreign materials. Dr. Luck’s technique helps maximize fat cell survival rates while maintaining the soft, supple feel of natural breast tissue. Fat transfer breast augmentation can be performed alone, or as a complement to breast augmentation with implants. In many cases, a hybrid approach using fat transfer and implant placement can yield the best possible results.

  • Breast Lift

A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a great treatment option for patients experiencing sagging of their breasts due to aging, weight loss, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Rather than adding volume, a breast lift reshapes the breast, repositions the nipple and areola, and tightens stretched skin. Dr. Luck employs advanced mastopexy techniques that prioritize both form and function, preserving blood flow and sensation while elevating the breasts. Some patients may benefit from the use of an “internal bra” in order to maintain their results. Depending on your existing anatomy and goals, Dr. Luck may use a periareolar incision around the areola, a vertical incision extending from the areola to the lower breast fold, or an anchor-shaped (“inverted-T”) incision pattern. For women who want added volume, Dr. Luck can perform a simultaneous breast lift and breast augmentation with implants or your own body fat.

  • Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery can be a life-changing procedure for women who struggle with the physical and emotional discomfort of disproportionately large breasts. By removing excess breast tissue, skin, and fat, this procedure aims to restore a lighter, more balanced breast contour that exists more proportionately with the rest of the body. Beyond aesthetic enhancement, breast reduction alleviates chronic symptoms such as back, neck, and shoulder pain, bra strap grooves, and skin irritation. The result is not only physical relief, but also a renewed sense of confidence, posture, comfort in clothing, and increased mobility.
